A Central California native, Darrin Cantrell brings a rare blend of engaging communication, pastoral insight, and business strategy to the funeral profession. With a background in radio broadcasting and pastoral ministry, Darrin has dedicated his career to helping people connect—through clarity, empathy, and purposeful growth.

Since entering the funeral profession as a Pre-Need Counselor in 2009, Darrin has been a $1.5M+ producer, earning a reputation for building trust-based relationships with families while driving consistent, ethical growth. Today, he leads a team working in partnership with Homesteaders Life Insurance Company.

As a strategic growth consultant, Darrin works closely with funeral home owners and managers to strengthen operations, align teams, and create sustainable long-term success. His approach centers on continuity—ensuring families experience the same care, communication, and compassion at every point of contact.

In 2025, Darrin founded CONNECT Pre-Need Solutions, an innovative model designed to unite front office staff, at-need directors, and pre-need counselors into one seamless care experience. 

CONNECT focuses on laying the groundwork for a meaningful aftercare strategy—one that is already proving successful in increasing pre-need production while deepening family relationships. Today, CONNECT is established in four firms across seven locations.
